I love you and miss you so much. It feels like I can't breath everyday because one or twice a day I think of you grandpa. The memory that stands out the most is the 4th of july we spent on the boat. That made this year even worse, without you!

Please accept our condolences on the passing of your father and my friend.I will always remember the many good times that "Spanky" and myself had at the house and while he was in Shop 99. He could be a character at times but he had a very caring side also. May you find peace and comfort in knowing he is at rest with Jesus.

I worked with Joe "Spanky" Gerrey for a number of years and he was definitely a bright spot at work and always full of life. He could always make you laugh and cheer you up when you were down. Everyone who worked with Spanky remembers him and he will be remembered for a long time.

Spanky was a dear friend, who touched many lives including my own. He always brightened the room when he entered. I know he is now at peace. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten
